Commercial Support Consultant, Oslo

ShipNet is the largest vendor of ERP systems for the Shipping Industry and a member of the Inchcape Shipping Services Group. Over 250 Shipping Customers are running our ShipNet software and we have approximately 150 employees with branch-offices world-wide. ShipNet - Oslo office is located at Helsfyr in Oslo, Norway

Commercial Support Consultant

Key accountabilities:

  • Provide application support for customers of our Commercial Management portfolio: Chartering and Operation Software.
  • Manage error-tracking and problem-resolutions via e-mail and telephone and logging and tracking of new and existing Customer cases.
  • Ability to prioritize and co-ordinate cases, strong follow-up and integrity with our customers.
  • Documentation of case work.
  • ShipNet Software Quality Assurance.
  • May include some travel.

Required experience and Personal Characteristics:

  • Commercial Shipping experience.
  • Moderate familiarity with computer applications and general IT understanding.
  • Excellent communication skills in English. Ability to communicate issues and solutions and deal with people in the Shipping business environment.
  • Skills as Customer Focus, Analytical Thinking and Teamwork are essential.
  • Proactive and good problem solving skills – able to identify potential issues and propose solutions.
  • Experience in Support and ShipNet application is a plus.
