We would like to announce that Alex Lior has joined ShipNet as the Territory Manager for Germany. Alex will cover Germany, Eastern Europe and Russia. He will be based in Solingen, Germany. Alex is a professional with over 20 years’ experience in Sales, Sales Management, Marketing and International Business Development for companies like Rad Data, Integra and CS Consult for which he was responsible to setup their European operations and to manage and grow them in this market.
He managed IT sales and services for corporate clients, created and managed strategic alliances with new resellers, sold and implemented software solutions for vertical markets and won important contracts in EMEA in the areas of telecommunications and high end hosting applications for the corporate market.
Alex speaks English and German. He has a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering and an MBA. Besides his studies and experience, he was an officer in the Navy, responsible for maintenance of several ships, design and project management, training of crew on ships and shipyards, purchasing of equipment and commissioning.
