In this third installment, we review the 7th, 8th, and 9th elements of TMSA 3 and how ShipNet can assist with them. The elements being:

7th Element – Management of change
The 7th element documents the “management of change” within a maritime business and its fleet of vessels, where the possibility of additional risk can be brought on by any change.
Technical changes of a vessel require a detailed history to be provided to crew members so that they can operate and maintain the vessel safely. A review of the changes must always be undertaken to measure the impact on operational and procedural tasks and which areas of a maritime business are affected the most so that training is provided, and necessary risk assessments are conducted.
