What’s new in Commercial XE?
First up let’s take a look at the developments from our Ship Chartering & Voyage Operations Software
New Widgets for Voyage Estimation, Chartering, and Management
In this minor release, we have introduced a wide variety of widgets to support and enhance your vessel chartering & voyage operating activities. These are added through the “Configure Widgets -> Special Widgets” area in the solution.
Quick Estimator Widget – Efficient Voyage Estimation Calculations
Our New Quick Estimator Widget enables you to plan & estimate your voyages faster and more efficiently. The widget supports multiple cargoes, while also offering matrix sensitivity for individual cargo estimates. Additionally, we have provided a map view, enabling you to see your estimated voyages quickly, all within the widget.
The Quick Estimator widget can be enabled in the User Settings section in the Voyage Estimator.
New Chartering Widgets – My Cargo, My Vessel, Distance Calculator, Port Overview, and ShipConnect Notifications
We have added new widgets to drive efficiencies in your voyage chartering activities, centralizing your cargo and vessel data alongside our distance calculator, port overview, and ShipConnect Notification functionalities.
My Voyages – Enhanced Voyage Management
The “My Voyages” Widget has been introduced to enhance voyage management, making it easier to manage and track your ongoing voyages.
Users can add the widget to their ongoing voyages in the My Voyage List, which will be maintained until the user removes them.

What is new in Technical & Safety XE?
Next up, let’s review the development highlights from our Ship Management Software
We have added a new module called “Circular Manager” as part of our Safety Management System for Ships “Safety XE,” enabling users to share & manage circulars easily across a fleet.
Improved Workflow Support
In the latest release, we have added a feature that enables your users to easily add new workflows after work queue migration within the ShipNet Fleet Management Solution.
Feature to upload Certificates from Ship/Shore
Users can now upload new certificates from both the shore & ship regardless of the site type associated with the work queue state, where the certificates are available.
Improvements for Excel Form Data Population
We have optimized the data population for excel forms when opening them from event forms or forms from the explorer screen.
Improved Mandatory Readership Overdue Alerts
The release has seen improved Mandatory Readership Overdue Alerts, where updates have seen the scheduler generate alerts in the respective sites. Furthermore, the existing schedule has been configured to execute in all locations and not just on the shore.
Limitations for File Cabinet Attachment Types
In the file cabinet configurator, we have introduced a new setting in the menu bar to restrict the file types used in the attachment section.
By default, the File Cabinet allows any file types to be added as an attachment. With the new feature, the system would add restrictions and only allow file types to be uploaded that match what has been set in the configuration process. Alternatively, the system can also be configured to allow any file types to be uploaded that don’t match any preconfigured exceptions.
Simplified New Occurrence Wizard Form
Our Safety Management System for Ships “Safety XE,” has had some usability enhancements made for the new occurrence wizard form, enabling users to capture essential details more efficiently.
Ability to View Sent Alerts
Users can now view sent alerts through the “Add History with Alert” option. A new “Sent Alerts” option has been added to the My Tasks Explorer screen to view sent alerts.
What’s new in Procurement XE?
Let’s take a look at what is new in our Marine Procurement Software
Enhanced Supplier Selection Search
As part of the updates to our marine procurement solution “Procurement XE,” we have enhanced the Supplier Search, improving the support of searching by business types/ports and keywords.
Soft Deletion of Invoices
Your team is now able to perform soft deletion of invoices within Procurement XE, while still allowing users to see deleted invoices in the invoice explorer.
Action Log Functionality
We’ve added a new procurement setting that enables your users to log all actions completed for an order audit.
History & Correspondence
We have reintroduced the history & correspondence feature to the comments section in the Procurement XE solution, with additional functionality allowing users to replicate the history to the ship.
Lock Order Functionality
The solution is now able to give exclusive access to assigned users for procurement workflows, such as orders, invoices, and TB.
An override feature is available for individual roles from within the state roles screen, allowing users to edit documents.
