Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager to join our team at Shipnet. As an Account Manager you will be directly responsible for owning a portfolio of customers, to manage and grow those relationships and to ensure the Shipnet customer experience is a great one.



  • Salary £40 - £45k depending on experience

Key Accountabilities

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Understand customers' unique needs and goals to provide tailored solutions and support.

Customer Retention:

  • Implement strategies to reduce customer churn and ensure long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Account Growth:

  • Identify opportunities for upselling or cross-selling our products and services.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve revenue targets.

Issue Resolution:

  • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
  • Escalate technical or complex issues to the appropriate team for resolution.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Provide regular reports to track account performance and provide actionable insights.

Feedback and Improvement:

  • Gather customer feedback and communicate it internally for product enhancement.
  • Suggest process improvements to enhance the customer experience.

Required Skills

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience in Account Management, preferably SaaS
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely while maintaining high productivity.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of the shipping industry is a plus.
